I created the federated wiki and am responsible for much of the jargon we use when discussing it. With this site I will create a self-contained collection of the Names of Things that can in one place inform newcomers to how we talk.
We use our jargon with some precision. Some of it comes from the network technology we've built upon. Other terms are from metaphors we use for important concepts new with this approach to wiki.
I will avoid linking off into other parts of the federation so that one can find finish with their study without leaving here. I make an exception for the Bibliography where I reference the pages where words first found written definition.
